compression results 87 16V

Hey, you should be happy as a pig with numbers like that!
Why do Scirocco owners think it's BAD when things test GOOD????
(I know, I know, those numbers are over the specs.  So what.  Let's =
assume his gage is out of calibration...and it certainly IS...and say =
his rings and valves are in great shape.)

  I got the compression tester today and performed the test.
  My motor has 163,000 miles , and it has developed a little
  "hickup" when idling. I checked everything else and could not find =
anything wrong. I figured maybe it's a compression problem. Well, the =
results were #1 200 #2 205 #3 205 #210.
  But are these numbers a bit high? the motor was warm, WOT, fuel pump =
relay out, coil grounded, all plugs out.
  the engine never consumed any oil, i always use 93 octane, and Redline =
SL1 cleaner twice a month so carbon deposits
  should not be a big factor.=20
