(OT) things to say while woking on your car

The Germans definately have a couple brain-farts of their own.  Every
time I think about the rubber-centered clutch that my 944 left the
factory with, it makes me cringe.

I give them credit for coming up with a very clever "limp home" system
for the the  clutch disk inevetiablly breaks after 60-80k miles. 
However, that just goes to show that someone, somewhere, obviously
thought that this might just be a problem...  :p
