Woo Hoo! I sure hope that goofy problem is gone for good. I guess the =
motor just needed to get on a bit to open all it's passages. Who =
knows...maybe something in ther got blown out in the process.

Late last night, after a little prodding from Tobias, I decided to =
take the car out because it had been on the ground since early Monday =
morning and I hadn't even gotten to drive it yet. So I made sure I let =
it cool sufficient and then took it out.
  =20
All I can say is WOW! Two enthusiastic thumbs up on the butt-dyno! The =
powerband is useable all the way through.
  =20
The 2.0 really kicks ass! And that's with my stock cams - I can't =
begin to imagine what it does with a hotter set!
  =20
And you know what? After 20 minutes of spirited driving, the temp =
needle barely got past the 1/3 mark...WTF?! But, I am definitely not =
complaining.
  =20
I was quite worried and nervous though this morning because in order =
to get to my current jobsite, I have to drive over the San Mateo bridge. =
For you listers not familiar with the Bay Area, the SM bridge is a =
13-mile behemoth with no shoulders! So if I broke down, a significant =
portion of the Bay Area would now about it!
  =20
But, knock on wood, it ran fine all the way here.
  =20
On side note, the DFQ tranny so far really works well for freeway =
driving!
