painting euro bumpers



I know you meant well, but sanding with anything finer than 320 BEFORE
priming will mean the primer may not stick to the substrate.   You must
leave the surface with some 'tooth' for the primer to grip.  600, or even
400, leaves a surface that is far too smooth to hold paint.  Save the fine
sanding for the final coat.
