Alternative to VDO guages...WAS: ebay rant (short)

INteresting...but what I was most interested in in that
auction was the Zender 3 gauge panel for the radio opening.
Can I just get a standard DIN size 3-gauge panel or is the piece Scirocco
Mk1 specific? Anyone know for sure. BTW, I didn't even bid on it...
I  checked in with 30 seconds left and $152.50 was just too steep :-(
