Dead Roc Update and WAY off topic question

Ok first, the Scirocco related.  I'm just going to buy a new damn
distributor.  God told me to do it in a dream.  He said that will make the
car run again.  He didn't tell me where to get the cash, I'll have to figure
it out on my own....

OT Question:

A mechanic and friend of the family was at our house today in a car he
picked up.  It's a 1994 Infiniti Q45.  He bought it off of the original
owner with the intention of taking it to auction.  First of all, this
wouldn't be a replacement for the Scirocco, it would be my commuter car.
This thing has 157,000 miles on it.  But the paint and interior are in great
shape and it is loaded to the gills.  I realize I will go to hell for even
thinking about buying this car, so flame away.  My question is this, would I
be insane for buying this heap for $7000 and hoping that with 157000 miles
it will last a few years with the orginal engine.  I've read some owner
comments on Cartalk.com.  Just wanted to know if anyone on the list had any
experience with Infiniti/Nissan and could look into the crystal ball and
tell me whether I would hate myself if I did this.  I probably already know
the answer.  This eveil car has enticed me with its heated, 112 way power,
memory seats and luxury features.  The factory cell phone, supple leather,
and leg room are calling to me.  Please make the voices stop!
