How fast is a 2.0L 16v Mk2?

You mention *new* Golf 1.8T as in new to him or brand new 2002? Don't
forget the brand new 1.8T cars are pumping 180 hp - quite a considerable
jump from the ol' 150 hp. The car rags (C/D, R&T) are getting 15.3 out
of the new GTI 1.8T and Beetle Turbo S.
