These cars never cease to amaze me...(long)



Hmmm...careful on that assumption about the filter vibrating loose.  I
thought mine had as well, but instead, I found that excess pressure had
actually blew the filter down a thread.  I had a blocked pressure
bypass valve in the oil pump, caused by a failed rear mail seal (the
coiled wire spring came off and eventually got sucked into the pump). 
Now, you might be right (and I hope you are) but keep you eyes on that
pressure light until sure that it was just vibration that loosened the
filter!
