FINALLY someone said it. You couldn't pull a pull out of the collective
asses of the scirocco list with a bulldozer. I have more money in motor
than what the average lister has in his entire car. Do you think I would
ask for more than 5 grand for my car?

Remember with 50MM manifold were so RARE that they went for 800 bucks. I
guess they arent so rare anymore ehh....dont even get me started on
500.00 Euro lights.

Case in point. I brought back MK1 Euro bumpers from the UK. Will you
ever find another set probably not. Everyone on the list thought they
are worth more than 600 bucks. Everybody wanted them. I put them up for
sale and I couldn't get anything close 200 bucks for them. I basically
gave them away.

Sorry Patrick -- I'm not picking on you.... but...

You all make me laugh.  You've got to be the cheapest bunch of people on

this earth.  All of you laugh your asses off when someone wants $4,000
for=20
their Scirocco (or one sells for $2500 on e-bay), but the second
something=20
happens to your car, you want your car to be valued at $8,000!

I can't believe how many times I see all of you laughing at prices of
these=20
cars for sale when that's what you insist your own car is worth=20
anyway!  The bottom line is that there are people out there who -- get
this=20
-- are actually willing to spend money on their cars.  As a lot of you=20
know, I turned down a CASH OFFER of TWELVE THOUSAND for my car.  In my=20
case, the car's not for sale, period.  My last appraisal came in at
$7000,=20
and I'm expecting about $9500 from the next one.  If I were to sell my
car=20
(fat chance), you can bet your little asses that I'd want a whole hell
of a=20
lot more for it than $4000 -- despite all of your laughing -- and I=20
guarantee you I'd get well over $10.  I have a friend now that's got
$9000=20
to spend -- and he's looking for... guess what -- a good.. er.... great=20

So how about dropping this juvenile double-standard that your car is
worth=20
something but no one else's is?
