Work Gets In The Way of Projects....

after many trips to the parts store, dealer, and hardware store, the
"engine swap"  is almost complete.  The engine/trans is bolted in, most
everything reinstalled.  There is at least one more trip to the hardware
store (half the hardware for the a/c pump is missing, other
miscellaneous nuts/bolts that could use replacement).  Need to buy
another motor mount which was a big DUH! on my part because I noticed
the passenger's side was bad and replaced it but never checked the
tranny mount!  (It's toast -- what's left of the rubber almost fell out
of the housing)  OK so I earned a couple more points toward "dork of the
year".

BTW, did Bentley completely leave out the correct positioning of a new
motor mount insert of is it just me?  Almost afraid to ask -- could mean
more dork points coming my way...

Needless to say, I AM PSYCHED because it should be running this weekend,
possibly road legal next week...anyone want to buy a Jetta?!?
