brake trevel Q's...

I just replaced the brake master cylinder on my 16V with a g60 one because
the pedal would go to the floor and not stop.  Now brakes have been working
fine but when cold the pedal travels farther than when warm.  So as the car
warms up the brakes firm up.

 What could be causing this?

I did not have this problem until I moved to Lubbock where it is colder and
snows sometimes.
