glass polishing: how to?

actually, I polish glass headlights at work with a high-speed, 10 inch
rotary buffer set at 1400-1600 rpm using a wool cutting pad and a gritty,
cleaner wax to do it. works great. the cleaner wax I use is really made to
remove medium scratches from paint, but it works geat on headlights and
taillights.

im not sure of the compound, but its gonna take more than a dremel. probably
a high speed sander
with a polishing compound pad on it. i would imagine you would have to press
down more than any
dremel could handle, and it would fling the compound all over the place.
that compound has me wondering now. glass resists acids so i dont know how
the heck you would polish
it.
