carfax?

Car Fax allows you to enter a VIN number on a website or by telephone. If
you do it online, within a few seconds a screen pops up with a title
history. They will certify that your title is good and they check for
things like government ownership, salvage title, flood damage, odomoter
rollback, etc... They don't provide the names of the previous owners, but
they do provide the city and state the title was issued and whether it was a
business or private individual. It's pretty slick. A single request costs
$14.95. A 30 day membership with unlimited inquiries costs $19.99. I got a
30 day membership since I am/was trying to sell my car and have been in the
market for something else. If you want me to run those VINS for you, just
e-mail me with the numbers. I can pull them and forward to carfax report to
you via e-mail and you can check it out.
