got my first scirocco 2day! need help on a few thing!

hi to every1 in the scirocco list.....very pleased and very excited i got my 
scirocco in the garage 2day!.......but an few probs.........by the way...the 
scirocco waas driven to my house but b4 it hadent been moved for about 1 
year!........when i got it started i noticed that the tappets were very 
rattly...the oil level was good..well a bit to high in fact........but when u 
pick up the revs theres like a deeper noise.....like the tappets but alot 
louder????? any ideas?......(to be honest the scirocco is not in a good 
way......theres other things like the side window is smashed and there is no 
trim on the boot lid inside.........theres alot of spiders in there as 
well!.........theres a few scrapes in the bumper and a chip in the rear wing 
:( .....im gonna give it 1 good service.though very soon.......also when its 
running it gets really hot......both the top hose and the bottom hose comin 
of the radiator are boiling! but on the temp gauge it says its just above 
cold?.................thanks for any help!.......rob.b (england)
