Muffler advice

  I have a dynomax exhaust system on my 16V Scirocco. It is far too loud =
for my liking though. If I go back to stock I will lose much power.

  No, not much.  We didn't have much to begin with, now did we?

  Is there a performance muffler alternative that is quiet?

  What's your definition of quiet?  (more power=3Dless =
restriction=3Dmore decibels)
  You could always do what the GM factory street racers used to do in =
the late '60s; hook up two tubo mufflers in parallel.
