I was there along with Scott Williams, and man was it a blast. We had the
privilege of working spectator control, so we got to stand a few places that
others couldn't. As for some cool crashes on stage one I got to see one of
the Irish cars take a nice beating, and after getting pushed off the road
some Irish spectators draped an Irish flag on it, I found that funny. Other
then that we didn't get to see many other extreme wrecks, but at stage 6 we
got to see an Evo nearly take out a tree and the camera man behind it, then
swerve and take out two plastic polls scatter some spectators then hit a
speedvision camera smashing it up a bit. Was pretty intense. That golf TDi
from what I have been told by Scott actually runs on Bio-Diesel made up of
some soy beans and other mystery ingredients (anyone on the list know of the
stuff). Well all I can say was it was my first rally and I will definitely be
attending many many more.
