TT fuel enrich't wiring question

This sounds like the 'hot', +, or trigger line for their relay.  The 
way it works is
that once you bury your foot, the WOT switch will trip, causing current to
flow through the wires connected to the switch.  The TT enrichment trigger wire
is connected to the 'switched' line off the WOT.  In this manner, the WOT is
serving double duty as the normal CIS-E notifier of WOT, and as a + lead
for the TT relay (which cuts in a particular resistance value in 
place of what-ever
the CTS is at).  Without this lead connected, your box is not 
working.  They used
a simple 'T' wire fitting so as to be able to say the box install 
required no cutting.
For a more positive (ha ha!) connection, I would cut, splice, and 
wrap; that is if you
wanted to make the install more permanent like.
