Power for amp through firewall?

Michael,
    I would recommend the whole on the driver's side where the conductors
for the 'O2 reminder' go though.  The 'O2 reminder is a little black box in
series with the speedometer cable.  It triggers the light on the dash every
30k miles or so.  There are three or four small conductors from the black
box to the fuse box.  It is also lower than the fuse box.  There seems to be
plenty of room for other conductors.
    Maybe some one on the list can tell us if this circuit has any other use
besides the light on the dash.  Can it be removed?
