OT - new Jetta/Hockenheims

Just saw a new Jetta 1.8 T but what caught my eye were the wheels it had.
They looked like 14-15" TSW Hockenheims, 8 or so pairs of thin paralell
"spokes" each kind of stradling the hub.  When I got closer I could see the
VW logo in them.  I wonder if that design similarity is intentional.  They
say imitation is the sinsearest form of flattery.
