If I remember right before I put on my H&R Coilovers the height was 14" from
the center of the wheel to the top of the wheel arch.  Or from the ground
that would be about 24.75"  I had the stock teardrops on and 185/65R14
tires.

If you have a MkII 16V w/ stock suspension, I'd appreciate it if you
could measure the height of the car at all four wheels.  Ground to top
of wheel arch would be fine.  Of course, stock diameter wheel/tire
combo also required.  I just want to know how much I'm dropping mine
from original height.
