Silly Questions time: Cargo covers and spewing NOS?

Dont know first hand so I wont answer. id guess that it doesnt fit.

They're purging air out of the lines. Its a racing performance thing.

Uh, you obviously havent been on this list very long. VW's are just as
prone to any other vehicle to have mechanical problems X, Y and Z. 
However, having them buy a VW might allow you to diagnose their problem
although symptoms are commonly similar between all vehicles. 

My advice is always to buy a NEW car and they wont have the problems
associated with a 14 year old car. Comes with the territory. Ill keep all
my old cars I can usually fix all my old cars for what it would cost to
register a single -new- car in this state!
