Gotta go stealth (was: Speaker Sizes)

I just got done installing the Infinity 4x6 Kappa (model #462.3 or 463.2?) plate speakers all around ($80/pair on ebay regularly). They sound awesome even with the POS deck that's currently in there (going for the Alpine 60wx4). I went the stealth route too - I've had too much ganked from my VWs over the years to put anything nice in that would be visible (and definitely going to get a new alarm).
the only think that looks different are the four black screws into the rear grills. Got quite familiar with my new Dremel and it was actually a neat little project. The Infinity plates are quite sturdy and shaving off a sizable portion didn't affect the install.
My $0.02 - HTH, JT

Yep, Monsier Bureau is correct -- they're all 4x6 but I don't know of any
direct bolt-in that fits in the front doors.
I have Cerwin Vega! 4x6s in the rear factory locations, and 6.5" Panasonic
slim 2-ways in the front doors. No metal cutting was necessary, but I did
need to cut away a little of the door panel to clear the foam on the
speaker. They're all behind the factory grilles - i.e. stealth.

I'd also recommend putting tweeters in the dash vents a la Neal Tovsen..
