16" Wheels/Tires Poll

Not 16", but I have a set of old Centra 5 spokes that are 15" with
28et. Matched them up with Toyo Proxies 205/50 and they would rub every
so slightly on the outer edge, front and back, when you hit a bump
(especially with a passenger in the car). Once the fender lips were
folded under I had no problems at all.

I tried 215/50's and they just fit under the front fenders on the
outside, but seemed to fit okay in the rear. I did notice they rubbed
slightly on the inside under load on the back against the springs - but
coilovers may help here :) On the front they did rub big time under
heavy cornering. The insides would hit the springs when you cranked the
wheels.

So that that for what it is work. Just this set of rims and tire combo,
extrapolate it how you like it....

I did like the look of 205's in the front and 215's in the back though,
guess I will have to get a wide body kit one day :)

If your ET is 28 then your wheel/tire is 7mm further OUT than an ET35
wheel!
So, spacers are not the solution! They will only make your effective
offset even smaller.
