help with strange noise



Brad, my guess is that Patrick is right. Take the solenoid off, take it
inside and clean it well. If it looks right then reassemble with a LITTLE
(remember that in theory you can float the Queen Mary in one drop of oil)
grease on the moving parts. If the brass ring is scorched from making
contact you can dress it up but leave it smooth like a babies butt. Locktite
the long assembly bolts when you put it back together. This has gotten me
through to the next show / swap season.
