My Bentley doesn't cover the later 16v that he has but this is what
the Haynes says:

Electronic Ign:

Primary: 

All except PL & 9A- 0.52 to 0.76 Ohms
PL & 9A           - 0.6. to 0.80 Ohms

Secondary:

GX, MZ, HT, RD, RV, PF - 2400 to 3500 Ohms
PL & 9A                - 6500 to 8500 Ohms


Those w/ points have these values:

Pri - 1.7 to 2.1 Ohms
Sec - 7000 to 12000 Ohms
