Radar detection capabilities

ONe of the reasons why I don;t have a radar detector in my car but a 40
channel Citizen Band (CB) truckers called out bears on the road of USA all
the time and I usually know 90% time approx 5-10 miles ahead ot time before
I reach the cop sitting on the highway.
Saved me plenty in tickets over the last 10 years to love it more than some
radar detector that goes off all the time someone opens a garage. or house
alarm goes off 3 blocks from the highway.

my 2 cents worth.

Eye can see, mouth can speak, use both and a CB, you will know where the
bears are at. Amen!

Subject: OT: Radar detection capabilities

Has anyone read the Car & Driver review of radar
detectors? They talked about the capabilities of this
detection system (I think it is called "Nightstalker"
or somthing) that can track multiple cars in both the
opposite lanes and the same lanes of the highway. In
other words, you can't hide in the shadows of a big
truck, or in the radar clutter of other cars. I didn't
know they had this ability. Anyone know how this
works? How do they designate different targets?

Car & Driver was most impressed with the Valentine
system and its patented arrows. The price seems really
steep. Is thier someone out there who has this system
and reccomends it?
