Dan,
    I'm tellin ya, theres a definite difference, but only in those 2 lines.
All else is the same. I went through pics of my last 5 sciroccos. All 16v's
were straight, the 2 8v's had the bend. Now rocco #7 (3rd 8v), has the bend.
Its like a 5 degree angle downward right at the door/fender seam. I think it
may have something to do with roccos being produced on 2 different assembly
lines. Perhaps one was tooled a bit different than the other. This is likely
since the 16v had some of the chassis reinforced at the frame level. They
may have made that slight mod in straightening out the fender mount point.
Who knows :P
