Ummm...no.  Hotmail inserts the users IP in the header info.  They do
it as an antispam measure.  Depending the server, it's as simple as
$ENV{'REMOTE_HOST'} in a script.

Look for this line (# will change):
       X-Originating-IP: [64.40.48.241]

That was taken from one Hotmail-using-listers reply to this thread.  A
quick lookup shows the person to have been using
http://www.nocharge.com/, a free dialup service in Washington.  That
IP, along with the date and time should give them enough info to
determine who was logged in with that IP at that time.

No argument needed on dummying up a free access account to commit the
crime.  You can only hope the idiot accessed his hotmail from work...
