Intake Manifolds 40mm,42mm,50mm

40 is 1.8 16v, 42 is 2.0 16v, 50 is euro 16v. Afaik, bigger intake =
runners will make more herse at higher rpm (shifting power peak to the =
right).

  I have heard of these 3 size Intake Manifolds for 16V's.  I thought =
that 40mm was stock on a 16V Scirocco.  I know that the 50mm is =
available from Germany.  Where does the 42mm come from?  Somebody =
