Amphibian VWs



I would do the same little snorkel thing on your airbox inlet.  This is MUCH
more importatant than your exhaust since the exaust is going out and the
intake is sucking in!!!  Like Brian wrote, you can do a LOT of damage to
your motor if the water gets into the intake system since water doesn't
compress like air!!  Seen it a LOT on Toyota Pickups when I worked at the
dealership--the owner's thought they could do what they saw on the
commercials, but ended up blowing the engines instead.  Once the motor was
overhauled it was pretty funny watching all the water shoot out of the
exaust!!
