RE: Suspension questions redux

Use the appropriate spring rate for the job. Don't put 16v springs on any
8v-powered car. It will sit high. Don't install 8v springs in a car with a
16v installed. The front end will sag too low and the suspension will bottom
over bumps.

I firmly believe that you will have a much better suspension if you opt for
the Bilstein shocks and put the springs off for later. Going with the stiff
spring/soft shock combo means bouncing down the road looking like a fool. It
is the suspension damping rates that dictate most of your ride quality and
much of your overall handling performance.

Sure, you can. But, you shouldn't do it. The car is soooo much better off
(like, night and day!) with nice Bilstien, Koni, or Boge dampers versus
lowering springs.

The tubes are the same part and are interchangeable. Use whichever is
cleaner.
