  You certainly can use any properly-sized metric bolt as long as they are
at least a grade 10.9.  If you can find 12.9 bolts, use them.
By the way, you can get both from www.mcmaster.com along with most any other
fastener you can imagine (and some you can't.  Need a sex bolt?
McMaster-Carr has 'em!)
