OT? -- communter car search

$10K will buy you 3 foxes with low miles, aftermarket seats and brackets,
and the separate brackets you'd need to install the seats into your scirocco
after you get rid of the foxes (foxes have narrower seat tracks than our
cars) :)    You won't find leather, or any power accessories, but they're
cheap and reliable.

My vote is for a Fox.  $10k will get you one with really low miles and
still have enough money for some great after market seats.  After you're
done with it, you can put the seats into your Scirocco.  It will be
really cheap to own.
