Importing Vehicles more stuff



I checked into shipping my 89 Scirocco Scala I had over there.  I was
hoping to get the Air Force to pay for shipping it, but as you mention
the car had to be converted including bumpers, glass, lights, etc.  On
top of that, you have to pay import taxes.  The total cost would have
exceeded $5000.  This was five years ago, so things may have changed
since then but I doubt it.
