Rieger wheel choices (???)

Scott,
I never drove the rieger with the 17's. When i went from stock teardrops to 15x7's on my first
rocco, the car felt 'taller' (keep in mind i had stock suspension, and was going from bald 14's to
meaty 15's). I'd think that going with bigger size and a corresponding lowering in ride height only
makes it feel stiffer (setting aside the whole 14x7.5+225/40 crazy auto-x wheel idea.
Back in the day i rode in a rocco with 16x7's and 40 series. It seemed like you could never budge
them things. No play whatsoever. Steering feel was incredible. He had koni adjustables, and
counteracted the increased bumpy feel with softer setting on the konis.
