5spd tranny geared wierd ('84 )



The JH is a solid lifter motor.  As far as the tranny, climb under the car
and get the code off of the bottom of the housing and then go to the gears
section of scirocco.org to find the gearing.  It's possible the origianl may
have self machined and someone used a different tranny style in as a
replacement.
