timing

Ryan,

I don't know what the timing should be. All engines have a particular timing
they like. The published timing is a starting point and the norm that the
dealer will always set it at. Do a bit of experimenting.

Bad points of improperly set points will do a bunch of things mostly poor
running. Hard starts, skips, no revs, and the like. Set your points with a
dwell meter, it's far more accurate than a feeler gauge.
