starting problems

sounds like a dead or corroded alternator wire ..
replace that cable and see whats going on ..
if still actin up then i would say that your alternator can keep up with =
your hungry lil system
if that does happen then i would suggest on gettin a bigger alternator

  I got the jetta to start by push starting and it drove yesterday and =
today fine, but the crank-a- few-times-then-start problem is back.  So i =
took the jetta to autozone and they tested the alternator and battery.  =
The battery is good but a bit low on voltage and the alternator is =
apparently putting out enough volts but the battery isn't getting enough =
amps.  Could this be causing hard starting/no starting at all? and what =
could be causing this? t hanks again.
