John Warden: Mk3 issues

I have the MK3 Bentley. Checked into the ignition cylinder. Same issue as the roccos...to get the lock cyl out you have to drill a spot on the aluminum collar. Sounds like no adjustment is avaiable here, more likely your electrical portion of the ignition switch is dead and needs to be replaced. Replacing the mechanical cylinder is ugly, involves removing the steering wheel, with air bag, and the spring loaded spline, etc. (at least thats what bently describes). Bentely isn't very descriptive on the electrical portion of the switch, looks like its build into the aluminum collar? Take a look and let us know what you find.
