Just for those keeping score, I got 60' of 4/0 cable, plus 20' of 2/0 cable for $65. So I'm well under $1.00 per foot, and Mine's Bigger Than Your's!!!! Only problem is that I have way more of this cable than I need, so if someone wants to relocate, buy my extra cable! That welding cable is wonderful stuff to work with.I believe I used 14' total.Jason, you don't need to run a ground back to the engine compartment. I ran mine to the rear seatbelt center bolt, others have used a bumperbolt, no problems at all.HTHRon--- JoshuaA.Conner@VerizonWireless.com wrote:> You can get 16ft 1/0 for $40? where?> Joshua C. > '88 Red 16V 2.0 > > > > -----Original Message-----> From: Jason Adams [mailto:roclist@accessconsulting.ca]> Sent: Saturday, November 30, 2002 7:05 PM> To: Vince Royer; Scirocco List; JoshuaA.Conner@verizonwireless.com> Subject: Battery relocation (was Re: car stereo install accessories)> > > I've often wondered if the super heavy duty jumper cables (1/0 gauge)> would> work for battery relocation, thoughts?
