Almost bought them...

You know, I keep listening to people bashing 205/50/15, and I do not
understand what it is all about.

I have both, 1205/50/15 on the Beatrice, and 195/50/15 on Lucky, and the
only difference I have seen and felt on the road is, Beatrice runs 5MPH
faster on the Tach and the tires will rub on inside front wheel wells on
tights (180') turns, and on a large dip, the lip of the fender on the front
will rub for a moment.

Aside from "rubbing issues" I do high speeds turns, 80mph on tight turns
without a single squeal from the rubber on the asphalt (Khumo's 712 86V
rated).

If you can live whith a little rubbing (and we all know rubbing is racing
(J/K)) then buy them, otherwize buy 195/50/15's. Options for 205's is to
roll fender edge of wheel well and remove the inner liner.

Rubbing on shocks is not a tire issue is it s RIM/Wheel Issue. Beatrice has
7" rims on ET28 with 205's and I can slip my finger between rubber and
struts.
Lucky has Konig imagine's with ET40 and 195's and only my pinky can fit
(they actually would rub on 205's and regret buying the konig's for it).

Before buying rims/tires on an impulse, think about your space between the
wheel and struts, and will you go with a different setup for suspension or
not.
Et's between 25 and 35 are pretty good, 40 makes it close , et45 usually
results in lots of rubbing forcing coilovers to be installed.
