building a sweet gauge cluster

I love the idea of adding components/functions to the stock gauge cluster.
All those blank LED's are begging for a job.  A stealthy radar detector is a
perfect choice.  Post you results/success stories on this.

that sounds like an awesome setup. i really like the radar detector idea.
shouldnt be too hard if you can open the case and just add some wires to
mount the screen remotely, and put the guts of it under the dash.
