2.0 16v intermediate shaft

I didn't think the 16V had the intermediate shaft. I thought that was
only for the 8V's since the 16V is driven right off the cam.

Does the intermediate shaft on the 16v have bearings?  I know its a

question, it should but I don't know how to get the bastards out if they
