stubborn rieger / engine problems

my roc misses at idle too. it has also started to sputter when started
hot(like leaky injectors, but ther're not i checked) it also did the sputter
thing at full throttle today, just like what you described. I am thinking
fuel issue. my pos audi was doing this exact thing a few months ago, after
tons and tons of trouble shooting it came back to the mixture soleniod
thingy. it's the little grey piece attached to the fuel distributor. i
finally took it off and removed the screw that i;m sure you're not supposed
to remove and found a little allen head needle valve inside it. this was
very loose. and i'm sure it wasn't supposed to be. i played with it some,
adjusting it in and out and got the car to run again. i did put another
untampered one on it. keep us informed......
