Help! Options for MK1 rear wheel-well repair



I skilled bodyman can do a pretty good job at this.
You can always ask to see the "reproduction"before
they cut your car.

I remember seeing a shop locally in Montreal - don't
ask where it was like 15 years ago - making fender
replacment for full size american cars, and they were
it!

Heck, I even used to do my own, not that I consider
myself as a skilled bodyman, I was just a poor
desperate rustbucket owner. hahaha

My old '67 Pontiac had one of those, and you sure
could not tell by the exterior.

As long as they do not intend to put more than 1/8" of
bondo onto it, you are ok.
