rocco hood scoops??? by kamei??

those were on my hood before i got the car. ugly as sin and all they really do is protect the paint underneath and leave adhesive when you take them off..now i have 2 spots on the hood outlined in glue where the finish is pristine, and the rest of the hood looks as if its been run through a steel wool carwash.
