Most likely because its cheaper to make full face rotors 
than cross driled or slotted ones. a way for posha 
dealers  and other high end manufacturers to keep the 
cost of "exotic cars" down.

if you noticed in the past years the "wood" finish 
inside the cars are no longer "wood" but plastic molding 
that looks like wood... same concepts.
