Interesting Problem
I had an ignition coil go bad on me once with the same symptoms (it
wasn't a Bosch). RPMs would drop to zero, the car would "buck" somewhat
violently at 2500-3200 rpm and then it drive fine. It was worse when
the car wss cold. If the coil isn't faulty, check the connection to the
coil.
