My situation was unique, I decided to use the older style accesories,
instead of the newer style ribbed belt stuff.  So yes, I had to do some
minor custom stuff.  If I had to do it over again I would have found a
replacment alternator and A/C comressor and stuck with the newer style
stuff.  Someone else on the list just got this swap up and running this
way, and minimized his customization that way.  He should be able to
answer some of your other questions.

Mine isn't even running yet! :-)
