I speak from experience when I say that just because its "rebuilt"
doesn't exclude it from being a problem child. BTDT myself.

I know you can buy (not _YOU_ specific but trans builders, anyone buying
tranny parts.) syncros and parts that are not OE factory parts. Not that
this IS your problem but I do know that crap brazilian made syncros's
have ruined more than one tranny. Some parts just HAVE to be german
parts. Dunno why, should'nt matter but it completely does matter.

So, the only other thing I can tell you is to swap out the tranny with a
spare? (Everyone has a spare tranny, right? Ive got 2.....! ) Sounds like
you might have some premature worn out parts in the tranny. If the clutch
and related parts check out fine, the its got to be the tranny causing
problems, right?

Grinding suggests the input shaft is still turning tho.... should'nt be
turning when the clutch is depressed. If its in fact not turning how can
it grind gears at all? Hmmm.....

Good one Joe.
